      Newspaper Article - Thursday, January 6, 1927 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Adelle V. Edick was born in Lee Center, New York, January 23, 1846. She was united in marriage with George H. Edick in 1864. Her death occurred in Syracuse, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lester W. Davis, Sunday morning. For some part of her early life she was engaged in teaching school. Mr. Edick passed away eight years ago since which time Mrs. Edick has spent most of her time with her son, Grant G. Edick and some time with her daughters, Mrs. Ida White and Mrs. H. E. Wood, of Marathon. She was a member of Pulaski Methodist church and J. B. Butler W. R. C. besides her children sheriff by a sister, Mrs. Adelbert Tyler, of Hannibal. Funeral services were held from the home of her son, Grant G. Edick, Tuesday afternoon, at two o'clock, Rev. E. H. Scott, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial in Willis cemetery.
