lorence Jesikiewicz (Jescavage), 87, of Old Bridge Manor, Old Bridge, N.J., formerly of the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, and formerly residing with her daughter in Morganville, N.J., died Friday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.
Born April 17, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frank Steligo. She attended Scranton and Wilkes-Barre Area schools. She worked for J.B. Carr Co. and local cigar factories. She was a member of St. Frances Church, Miners Mills, the former Wyoming Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Geisinger Wyoming Valley Auxiliary, Plains American Legion Auxiliary and Plains Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; brothers, Stanley and Joseph; and sister, Verna.
Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Gregory, Morganville; son, John ``Jack,'' Plains Township; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral Memorial Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at St. Joseph's Church, Hudson section of Plains Township.
