- Obituary:
Following several weeks of serious illness Cora Tuller Taber died last Friday, February 8th at her home in this village. She had been practically a life-long resident of the the town of Sullivan, having been born at Perryville June 6, 1865. Her parents were Linus and Sarah Tuller. She attended school at Perryville and on December 25, 1881 married Harrison Taber at Perryville. Mr. and Mrs. Taber made their home in this village for many years. He died several years ago and since that time Mrs. Taber has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Leon Laird.
Mrs. Taber was a devoted member of St. Paul's Episcopal church of this village and her life centered in the interests of her family and church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leon Laird and Mrs. Walter Sickles, both of this village; a sister, Mrs. Edgar Ward of Cazenovia and three brothers, Caleb Tuller of this village and Charles Tuller and Monroe Tuller, both of Canastota. Funeral services were held Monday, February 11th with Rev. Ernest R. Ladebrook, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal church of this village officiating. Burial was made in Oakwood.
