      Anna Kendrat, 97, of 233 Nichols Ave. died Thursday at her home.

      A native of Czechoslovakia, Mrs. Kendrat lived in Syracuse 78 years. Her husband, Michael ''Panko'' Kendrat, died in 1958.

      Mrs. Kendrat was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.

      Surviving are a daughter, Mary Porcynaluk of Richmond, Texas; three sons, Harry of Syracuse, Michael of North Syracuse and William of Minoa; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

      Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, where a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Cemetery.
