    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 9, 1885 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek. New York - Orwell - Mrs. Amos Beadle an old resident died last Thursday night after a short illness, age 77 years. She leaves two sons and four daughters, all of whom are married and settled in life. She was a loving mother, a kind neighbor and will be greatly missed by all. Rev. Mr. Griffith, her pastor preached her funeral sermon Sunday at her late home.
